Background: Conner from Marion, OH wrote the following about himself: I'm 17 and in the 10th grade. I started writing when I was in the 4th grade. I usually write about the things that are on my mind or things that are related to what I'm thinking about. I love hiking, demolition work, fishing, and crafts. I have 3 dogs (a teacup chihuahua, a standard chihuahua, and a miniature pincher). They are named Darby, Daphne, Delia, respectively. I call then my 3 D's. Poetry is like reading a book. I try to rhyme my poems and change words to make them more interesting. The people who inspire and support me are: Poet Bob, my English 1 teachers, my parents, and everyone else I talk to about my poems.
