I have known you for a very short time...
But somehow forever.
You walk as one with the earth...
Never quite touching.
Not sure where to land to feel safe and warm.
Still Searching
Must touch enough each day to find me...
Never knowing where I am.
Each day I leave a little of me behind...
As a trail that you may find...
Knowing it must be.
Always Searching
Each nite I listen to my heart...
As a mother who hears her child.
Each morning I reach to feel...
The courage, wisdom, and guidance...
As a father gives of himself.
Still searching
Seems like an eternity...
Since I last touched down.
(not knowing)
When and how did this come to be...
I will rest here for now.
Leaving yet another piece...
Of me, behind.
Always searching
As the minutes of each sun...
Slowly turn.
I try to put the picture...
Back into my heart.
From the shadows of the past.
A small ray of sound...
Is growing in he future...
I can feel...
The stirrings deep with in...
From the restless winds.
Still Searching
Each day as the moon passes...
I turn to the north.
To hear and feel...
The familiar drum beat..
Of another heart.
Still Searching for me!
